Hello and welcome
I'm here to help you navigate through your own personal struggles

A little bit more about me
My journey to counselling
38 years in the corporate sector, leading, guiding and supporting teams and clients through all manner of professional challenges, has taught me a lot about myself. I discovered that, aside from my own ambitious, focussed and competitive traits, I gained a great deal of satisfaction from supporting and helping others, both professionally and personally.
During this time, I also faced a personal struggle, that led me very reluctantly to have counselling; a decision that showed me the benefit of sharing my challenges, thoughts and feelings with a counsellor, without judgement.
I am so glad that I took the life changing decision to seek professional counselling, which helped me come to terms with my struggle and enabled me to rebuild emotionally. A decision that not only got me through a difficult time, but also inspired me to take a new direction that changed my life.
That change in direction pointed me to here. I re-trained and qualified as a counsellor and I now use my combined skills and experience to help my clients navigate the challenges life throws at them... to help them to live life on life's terms.
I bring warmth, empathy, and real-life experience into my counselling practice.
I am passionate about helping people, because I have been where you are now. I know how difficult it can be to admit to yourself that you need help, let alone to find the courage to ask for it, and then finally, turn to a total stranger for the help you need.
That is why I begin with a simple truth:
It’s OKAY not to feel OKAY
O wn your feelings
Recognize that it's okay to feel lost, overwhelmed, or uncertain.
K now you’re not alone
Everyone struggles. Support is here. You don’t have to carry this alone.
A cknowledge your story
Gently unpack what you’ve buried — your experiences, pain, patterns.
Y ou are your priority
Rebuild from within. This is your time to heal, grow, and rediscover your path.
How I work
I am a Pluralistic or Integrative Therapist - Integrative psychotherapy is a flexible, client-centred approach that blends techniques from various therapeutic models (like Person Centred, CBT, Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Gestalt) to create a client centred approach, focussing on you (mind, body, emotions) and adapting to your unique needs, rather than adhering to a single rigid framework.
It focusses on the therapist-client relationship and aims to integrate different aspects of a person for holistic well-being, suitable for complex issues or exploratory therapy to meet you exactly where you are; you are the expert in your own life.
My commitment is to be nonjudgmental, and to bring real-life understanding, compassion, empathy, and great listening skills to the counselling room.
Who I support
I work with individual adults (18+)
I work with a wide range of issues, that are preventing people from living fulfilled lives; from addiction, fear of change, lack of direction, to simply exploring emotions, what's driving behaviours, relationships with self or others, or situations that don't serve you.
